About Us

Battlefield 2042 Player Count is an independent, fan-run site that tracks how many people play Battlefield 2042 on Steam. We built it because the question "is anyone still playing?" comes up constantly, and the answer deserves real numbers rather than guesses.

What we do

• Show the live Steam player count and 24-hour chart for Battlefield 2042.
• Keep a month-by-month record of peak concurrent players since launch in November 2021.
• Mark events such as free weekends and season launches so spikes and drops have context.
• Publish short analyses on the blog explaining what the numbers mean.

Where the data comes from

All player figures come from Steam's public concurrent-player data, displayed through the SteamDB embed and our own monthly records. Steam does not include PlayStation, Xbox or EA app players, so our numbers show trends on Steam rather than the game's full player base.

Independence

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Electronic Arts, DICE or Valve. Battlefield and Battlefield 2042 are trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation.
